PART FOUR: COLD BLOOD

I saw Restac crawl into the cave and aim her gun at the Doctor! Bravely, or stupidly, I shoved him out of the way and the beam hit me! I fell to the ground, moaning and panting in pain. I was dying.

"Rory, can you hear me?" The Doctor asked me after Restac had died herself.

He soniced me as I replied, "I don't understand..."

Amy shushed me as she said, "Don't talk! Doctor, is he OK? We have to get him onto the TARDIS."

"We were on the hill. I can't die."

"Don't say that!"

"You're so beautiful," I told Amy. I was moaning again. "I'm sorry."
