This is part two of Rory Watch, a feature that looks at Rory's involvement in each episode up to The Wedding of River Song.
It starts out, after a part on a family and a scared boy, with the trio in the TARDIS. Amy and Rory are drinking tea whilst the Doctor is lounging around. The Doctor recieves a message on the physchic paper. after observing it he says Please save me from the monsters, havent done this in a while, then starts pulling levers. when asked by Amy what hes doing he simply replies
"Making a house call!"
The TARDIS materialises in a normal looking estate. Rory isnt impressed.
"No offence Doctor," he starts.
"Meaning the opposite," The Doctor replies.
"But we could get a bus somewhere like this" Rory continues.
"The exact opposite!" The Doctor says cheerfully.
"Well I guess it cant all be planets and history and stuff," Amy says, trying not to be unimpressed.
The Doctor explains it can be, but not today because today they were answering a cry for help from a child. they walk untill they get to an elevator. the Doctor glances at the psychic paper again, Rory sneeks a peek at the paper.
"Please save me from the monsters?" he reads
"Sounds like something a kid would say," says Amy
The Doctor says "Exactly, a scared kid, A very scared kid, so scared that its cry for help got through to us, in the TARDIS." Amy is puzzled and voices her thoughts by saying, "but you traced it here?" he says exactly, then the elevator opens up.
They all go hunting through houses untill the Doctor sees a little boy, peering out of his bedroom window. He tells Amy and Rory to take the elevator to the next floor. Rory states to Amy that it couldve been junk mail and that maybe it was nothing. Amy just ignores him. Something goes wrong with the elevator, and when Amy and Rory finally are able to get up, Rory voices his fears by saying that they were dead, AGAIN. Amy tells him that they weren't. They go to find out were they are and explore, it doesnt take them long to realise that they are in a house, it takes them not much longer to find out that the food isnt real and various objects made from material that they werent desighned to be, like the wooden pan, and glass eye. Amy picks up a lantern witha light bulb and Rorys torch starts flickering, amy tells him to stop making it flicker, he replys that he's not making it flicker, and they continue through another door, Amy tells Rory to wait and she picks up the wooden pan, and they continue. As they continue a mysterious figure that is somewhat of a woman can be seen. as they continue they hear girlish giggleing, it gets louder untill they open a door and its just a dummy, rory flicks it and they continue upstairs. Rory starts complaining about missing the lights and that you dont relly miss things until there gona and starts saying his gran used to say that you won't miss the water until the well's gone dry.
PreTitlesSequence will do part three, The Girl Who Waited, on Sunday.
