Rory's View Part Two: The Vampires of Venice

Here's the delayed part two of Rory's View, a feature which charts a part of an episode from Rory's point of view:
PART TWO: THE VAMPIRES OF VENICE (Stag Party Bit)
Suddenly, a familiar figure bursts from the cake. I can't believe it. It's the Raggedy Doctor, Amy's Raggedy Doctor, who I'd met in Leadworth two years ago. I shake my head, incredulous. How could he be here? He turns around, and cries: 'Rory! That's a relief!'
He continues, despite everything: 'Thought I'd burst out of the wrong cake. Again. That reminds me, there's a girl standing outside. Could someone let her in, give her a jumper? Lucy, lovely girl. Diabetic.'
He turns to me, and says: 'Rory, we need to talk. About your fiance.'
I grin. Not that I need reminding that I was the luckiest man in the world. I look down at my shirt- me with Amy.
And then, to my dismay, he drops a bombshell: 'She tried to kiss me.'
Why would Amy try to kiss the Doctor? Why would she want to cheat on me with him?
He happily goes on, however: 'Tell you what, you're a lucky man, she's a great kisser.'
I hear a glass shattering. Right now, I want to punch the Doctor, very hard, in the face.
Part 3, Amy's Choice, will be done by L Bunting soon

Rory Watch Part One: Let's Kill Hitler

Rory Watch is a feature looking at Rory's involvement in each episode (a sequel to the 15 part Rory's Story), from Let's Kill Hitler to The Wedding of River Song.

PART ONE: LET'S KILL HITLER (Series 6 Episode 8)

The episode opens with Amy and Rory driving around in a cornfield, with Amy directing Rory where to drive in order to spell out the word 'Doctor'. Mels arrives, are they all get into the TARDIS. Flashback time! We're shown Amy, Mels, and Rory as children, then in Amy's room after Mels stole a bus. Mels says Amy has Rory, and Amy objects, saying she doesn't 'have' Rory, because he's gay. Rory argues that he's not gay, and Amy asks when he ever paid any attention to a girl. Rory stares at her, then runs from the room. Amy realizes he's paid attention to her and follows him. Back to the current story: The TARDIS crashes into an office, and Amy, the Doctor, Rory, and Mels hurry out of the smoking time machine. Rory looks over a man laying on the floor while a man behind the desk stands up, revealing they've crashed into Hitler's office. After looking over the TARDIS, he raises a gun at the man Rory was helping, who has now stood up. Rory reacts, punching Hitler. The man is fine, but Mels is wounded by one of Hitler's missed shots. She begins to glow with golden light, then regenerates into River Song. After getting used to her new body, Melody poisons the Doctor and jumps out a window. The Doctor is dying, but he instructs Rory and Amy to follow  Melody. They run outside and Rory punches a Nazi guard and steals his motorbike. After a short chase, Amy and Rory stop as men and women pour out of a building in their underwear. They look over to see a motorbike pull up beside them, a double of  Amy riding it. Amy and Rory wake up inside a tunnel, and they're surrounded by antibodies. Amy attempts to use the sonic to fight them off, but a door opens behind them. A man gives them wristbands, and the antibodies back down. Amy and Rory are taken to a room, where they can see the Doctor and Melody. Amy and Rory signal the Doctor with the sonic screwdriver so they know they're inside the robot Amy, but he's still dying. Rory consoles Amy as the Doctor appears to die and River is 'given hell'. Amy disables the wristbands for everyone on the robot, and the antibodies come after them, releasing River from 'hell'. Everyone on the robot but Amy and Rory are teleported away, and all the antibodies come after them. At the last minute, the TARDIS materializes around them. They return to the Doctor, but they're too late to save him. After giving River a message for River, he dies. Amy tells the Tesselecta to show them River, and it does. Astonished, River walks over to the Doctor, her hands glowing with regeneration energy, and proceeds to give him her remaining regenerations. River wakes up to see Amy and Rory looking down at her, and the Doctor gives River a TARDIS blue diary.

Rory's View Part One: The Eleventh Hour

Here's part one of Rory's View, a daily feature which charts a part of an episode from Rory's point of view:
PART ONE: THE ELEVENTH HOUR
A man in torn clothes runs straight past me, in the process grabbing my phone from my hands. I was just about to call out when he turns around. There is something very familiar about him.
"The sun's going out, and you're photographing a man and a dog. Why?!" he asks with a stern expression.
Amy runs up to me. I feel VERY relieved, and a bit unsure about what to say to the man.
"Amy!" I exclaim
Amy turns to the man and says
"Oh, this is Rory. He's a... friend."
I feel kind of upset about the fact she said friend not boyfriend so I say
''Well, boyfriend.''
"Kind of.. boyfriend" she adds.
"Amy!" I feel slightly annoyed at this point- it's like she doesn't want the man to know.
However, the man is clearly not interested because he repeats his question.
"Man and dog, why?!"
I stare at him, and I realise, who he was, old childhood memories of being forced to dress up and be him comes to my mind. I'm really not sure what to do.
"Oh my God, it's him"
"Just answer his question,"
"But its him though, the Raggedy Doctor,"
"Yeah. He came back,"
"But he was story, he was a ga-"
I didnt get to finish because he grabbed hold of me and demanded an answer to his question. Slightly scared, I said:
"Sorry because, he can't be there, because he's in a hospital, in a coma,"
He said the last bit with me, as if he already knew, so why ask me then?! He started talking about multiforms and that they needed a psychic link with a living but dormant mind. I hadn't a clue what it meant, or what a multiform was, but this was the man who could travel through time and space (apparently) so I'll just go with the flow...

Rory's Story Part 16: A Good Man Goes To War

Here's part sixteen of Rory's Story, a feature looking at Rory's involvement in previous Doctor Who episodes, (a prequel to the upcoming feature Rory Watch) from The Eleventh Hour to A Good Man Goes to War:

PART SIXTEEN: A GOOD MAN GOES TO WAR (Series 6 episode 7)

The episodes start with Rory sneaking around the 12th Cyber Legion (in Roman costume). He sonics causing the Cybermen to react. (This part will be done in Rory Moment so I won't go into too much detail). After asking a few questions and making a point (shown above) The Cybermen probably answers his questions. The Doctor decides to get an army together and told Rory to fetch River Song. He finds her at Stormcage and after explaining to her about his clothes and River's suggestion of high heels, goes back to the TARDIS because she can't be with The Doctor until "the very end". Rory doesn't pop up until later in the episode. He came into Amy's prison-cell-room after he nearly got attacked with a toothbrush by Amy with Melody! He tried to call her Melody Williams but Amy won with Melody Pond. The Doctor came in and Rory ordered him to stay in. He witnessed "baby talk" and The Doctor reassured Melody that his bow tie is cool. They are brought down into the room where the TARDIS is. After a disturbing talk with Commander Strax the TARDIS is put under a Force-field. The headless monks were coming, singing their attack prayer. Rory warns Dorium but he doesn't listen. He has his head chopped off. So only one thing can come now... COOL FIGHT SCENE! After the COOL FIGHT SCENE Rory finds out Melody is flesh. He comforts Strax's last moment and finds out he's a nurse. River finally turns up. The Doctor and River argues before he finds out who she is. Rory gets it a little bit easier than trying to read Gallifreian. River Song is his daughter...

RORY MOMENT(S) OF THE EPISODE

Rory's Story Part 15: The Almost People

Here's part fifteen of Rory's Story, a feature looking at Rory's involvement in previous Doctor Who episodes, (a prequel to the upcoming feature Rory Watch) from The Eleventh Hour to A Good Man Goes to War:

PART FOURTEEN: THE ALMOST PEOPLE (Series 6 episode 6)

Rory has found Jennifer--or make that Jennifers: Jennifer and her ganger. Unable to tell human from flesh, he realises one is limping. The injured Jennifer is attacked by the other, and the attacker is thrown into a pool of acid, revealing herself to be a ganger. The other Jennifer and Rory head towards thermostatic control room, where they can stir the oxygen to remove some of the fumes coming off the boiling acid. Unknowing that the controls only work for humans, Rory shuts off the thermostatic regulators. On their way back to the others, Jennifer shows Rory a pile of discarded gangers, their flesh melding although they are still semi-conscious. Declaring this as wrong, Rory decides to help Jennifer stop this from happening. Jennifer locks the others in an acid chamber, and Rory says he has seen what happens to old gangers. Amy and the Doctor tell him the Jennifer is dead and he has been tricked by her ganger. When he discovers he's been tricked, Rory tries to leave the gangers, but is stopped by the Doctor's ganger, who shouts "Ring ring!" and answers the holographic phone. Jimmy's ganger runs to release the humans (and Time Lord) who are locked in the acid room. Rory tells them of an escape route not in the schematics that would take them directly to the sinking TARDIS. As they head for the passage, they're intercepted by Jennifer's ganger, which becomes a scorpion-like version of herself. After giving his ganger a sonic screwdriver, the Doctor takes the surviving people into the TARDIS, where the gangers stabilise permanently. After dropping Cleaves and Dicken's ganger at a press conference, Amy suddenly doubles over. uddenly doubles over. The Doctor says that she is going into contractions, about to give birth. He and Rory help her back to the TARDIS. The Doctor tells Rory to step away from Amy. Rory at last backs away from Amy, who the Doctor assures they will find. The Doctor points his sonic screwdriver at "Amy" and activates it, causing her to collapse into raw flesh.

Rory's Story Part 14: The Rebel Flesh

Here's part fourteen of Rory's Story, a feature looking at Rory's involvement in previous Doctor Who episodes, (a prequel to the upcoming feature Rory Watch) from The Eleventh Hour to A Good Man Goes to War:

PART FOURTEEN: THE REBEL FLESH (Series 6 episode 5)

Rory and Amy are playing darts in the TARDIS, and they Doctor asks if they'd like fish and chips. Before they can, the TARDIS is hit by a solar tsunami, and lands on an island. Following a supply pipe, the three enter a factory where three people are suspended in harnesses, but doubles of the suspended people surround Amy, the Doctor, and Rory. Pretending they're meterologists, the Doctor warns the leader another, larger, solar wave is coming. Miranda Cleaves, the leader, takes them to a vat of flesh, telling them that all the workers aside from Jennifer are flesh 'gangers'. Rory, Amy, and the Doctor watch as Jennifer makes a gangerThe solar wave hits, and Amy and Rory find the others. Jennifer is in shock, and Rory comforts her. After discovering the gangers have become independant, Jennifer heads for the toilets, as she is feeling ill. Concerned for her (as he's a nurse) Rory follows. Upon discovering she's a ganger, Jennifer punches through the door, aiming for Rory. She misses, then extends her head through the hole in the door, demanding for them to leave them (the gangers) alone. Rory runs from the room. He finds her ganger, who tells him of when she got lost as a little girl. Rory asks her where the real Jennifer is, and she becomes angry, shouting that she's just as real as the other Jennifer. Rory and Jennifer's ganger find the others, and Rory says she needs protection. The real Cleaves finds them and proceeds to kill Ganger Buzzer. She aims the weapon at Jennifer's ganger, and is tackled by Rory, who disconnects the device. The humans (and the Doctor) take refuge in the chapel, but Rory refuses to enter, instead searching for Jennifer.

From Rory's Point of View (3)

Sorry about the late timing of this post. The third Rory's View is from The Impossible Astronaut.

I climb down into the hole after River, grimacing as my fingers encounter the trail of fleshy tendrils that winds along the tunnel floor.  River suddenly winces with pain. "You okay?" I ask anxiously. "Yes, yes, just felt a bit sick. It's the prison food, probably. OK, this way. What do you think?" We walk along the tunnels, the cool darkness pressing down on us. "I keep thinking I hear things," River nods. "It's interesting. These tunnels are old. Really old. How can they be really old and no one's noticed them?" We come upon a door, starkly modern-looking. "It's a maintenance hatch," I say. River tries the door. "Locked. Why do people always lock things?" Kneeling by the door, she begins attempting to get it open. "What's through there?" I ask.
"No idea."
"Something bad?"
"Almost definitely."
"You're going to open it, aren't you?"
"It's locked! How can a girl resist!"
Is this sensible?" I ask.
"God, I hope not." River replies, working on the door. "You and the Doctor. I can kind of picture it."
"Keep a look out," River instructs.
"What did you mean," I inquire. "When you said to Amy. There's a worse day coming for you?" River glances up from where she's working on the door. "When I first met the Doctor--a long, long time ago--he knew all about me. Think about that. Impressionable young girl and suddenly this man just drops out of the sky. He's clever and mad and wonderful and...and knows every last thing about her. Imagine what that does to a girl." I step down the tunnel, directing the light into the pockets of shadow. "I don't really have to," I say.
"Trouble is, it's all back to front. His past is my future. We're traveling in opposite directions. Every time we meet, I know him more, he knows me less. I live for the days when I see him, but I know that every time I do, I'll be one step further away. In the days coming, I'll look into that man's eyes--my Doctor--and he won't have the faintest idea who I am." The door clicks and swings open. "And I think it's going to kill me."

From Rory's point of View (2)

ok no one replied but L.Bunting, Hezza and RazerTheTechDragon said it was good so i decided to do a second...
from Day Of the Moon.
(edit- friday 26th august 2011)JazzyWazzy was also supposed to do one yesterday but instead of reposting for him I'll just make this edit.
"i cant get her out!"

why does no one listen to me?

"go leave me" she says

"im not leaving you!"

"just get your stupid face out of here!"

I stare at her as realisation dawns on me. It had me all along earlier when I thought she was talking about the doctor it had been me

My grip loosens on the straps, but I don't have much time to think, river is getting a bit trigger happy, the silence are firing bolts at us, and NOW the doctor helps!

The doctor is sonicing the straps I hold Amy as we rush into the TARDIS the doctor following, I risk a peek outside and nearly get shot as river shoots silent after silent. Wow.

I stare at her,

"what kind of doctor are you?" I enquire

"Archeology" she replies as a silent looms over her she shoots it without looking and my jaw nearly hits the floor.
"love a tomb" she finishes

Noted.

Rory's Story Part 13: The Doctor's Wife

Here's part thirteen of Rory's Story, a feature looking at Rory's involvement in previous Doctor Who episodes, (a prequel to the upcoming feature Rory Watch) from The Eleventh Hour to A Good Man Goes to War:
PART THIRTEEN: THE DOCTOR'S WIFE (Series 6 episode 4)

So the episode begins and it all starts with a some mail, which Rory has no idea what it is and gives his great clueless look. so then they travel through a hole in the universe and go into another universe where rory meets house, Idris,Nephew,Uncle and Auntie! Rory rather thinks they look like a bunch of nutters! As the episode continues on we see the Doctor go off to find more little blue boxes and let Rory take care of Amy. The good thing about this is that it gives more feel that Rorys not just the useless fool, but that the Doctor trusts him with things that he needs him to do. So as the Doctor goes of , Rory and Amy suddenly get locked in the TARDIS and then Rory holds Amys hand to comfort her,and to give the feeling that everything will be alright.
Next as the doctor goes of bulding TARDIS' with "Sexy", Rory gives them more time to work out how to escape and survive as he tells House "you want to have FUN! so you can't have fun if you kill us quickly..." , so Rory and Amy run around trying not to die,Rory suddenly gets trapped behind Amy as the door shuts just before he can make it through with Amy. There we see rory, hours later, but then they quicky go off and yet again rory gets left behind and is now seen with a beard as he has wrinkles and is now two thousand years older, there after waiting so many years, he gets furious with Amy and makes a grab for her, but Amy terrified, runs of , to accidently trap rory of once more. So for once more Amy goes and see Rory as a piler of bones with his blood scattered everywhere saying " Kill Amy", there Amy weeps for her dead husband and then suddenly ,Ta-da!, the last centurion apears! There heroic rory tells amy that its just House and gives her a great hug. Then Rory and Amy head of where they suddenly meet Nephew , possesed by House!

So they both run of and open the old TARDIS console room! Next the magic Doctor and mad Idris apear, and as Idris (TARDIS) is close to dying , nurse Rory goes of to help her, as almost all seems lost the doctor discreetly make House put them in the main control room, there Rory is puzzled by Idris' words" the only water in the forest is the river.", but then the old TARDIS come back to life in her home and destorys house by kicking him out of her "house" (GREAT PUN THERE!,LOL). so as we come to the end Rory gives one final request: a King size bed.

Rory's Story Part 12: The Curse of the Black Spot

Here's part twelve of Rory's Story, a feature looking at Rory's involvement in previous Doctor Who episodes (a prequel to the upcoming weekly feature, Rory Watch) from The Eleventh Hour to A Good Man Goes to War. Rory's Story will be posted twice a day, finishing on Friday 26 August, the day before Let's Kill Hitler airs:
PART TWELVE: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK SPOT (Series 6, Episode 3)
Rory pops up out of the ship's hold along with the Doctor and Amy, and does an little wave :) Rory is restrained while the Doctor is made to walk the plank- afterwards Rory himself will walk the plank- but they're both saved by Amy who beats the pirates in a sword fight, but accidentally cuts Rory's hand in the process. The black spot appears on Rory's skin- he's been marked for death. The Siren comes out of the ocean, and enchants the pirates who have the black spot and Rory. Rory is held back by the Doctor and Amy while another pirate is vaporised by the Siren's touch. Rory continues to behave strangely, admiring the pirates' 'brilliant beards' and asking Amy to cuddle him. The effect on Rory begins to wear off as the Doctor, Rory and Amy, and the pirates head below deck and find Captain Avery's son, Toby. They then go back above deck and the Siren attacks them, resulting in Rory plunging into the ocean and nearly drowning. We next see Rory in the episode on the Siren's ship, on life support, as the Siren had teleported him, and all the pirates she'd 'killed' to her ship to take care of them. With the Siren's permission, Amy unplugs Rory from the support and revives him in the TARDIS, as the Doctor watches.

Rory's Story will be posted twice a day until Friday 26 August, the day Let's Kill Hitler airs:

PART TEN: DAY OF THE MOON (Series 6 episode 2)

Rory, covered in tally marks, is shot on Hoover Dam. In body bags, he and Amy are dragged into the Doctor’s dwarf star alloy holding cell. Canton closes the door from the inside, and the Doctor releases Amy and Rory (who aren’t dead) from their body bags. The four go into the TARDIS, which was shielded in the cell. There, the Doctor implants them all with a nanorecorder that flashes red when a message has been left. While Amy and Canton investigate the little girl, the Doctor runs into trouble at NASA. Disguised as workers, River and Rory accompany President Nixon to release the Doctor, who soon after receives a call from Canton asking for help.  Amy has gone missing, and her nanorecorder left on the floor of the girl's room, switched from recording to live broadcast. Rory tells Amy they’re coming, and the Doctor says she can’t hear him. Rory firmly says she can always hear him. While River and the Doctor study the empty astronaut suit, Rory holds the nanorecorder listening to Amy. The Doctor, Rory, and River go after the Silence, and find them in the beginnings of a TARDIS, where Amy is strapped to a table. After the Silence deliver their own execution, the Doctor and River fight off the Silence while Rory attempts to free Amy. She orders him to get his ‘stupid face’ out of there, and he realizes it was him she was talking to on the nanorecorder. The four escape into the TARDIS, and Rory asks River what kind of doctor she is: Archeology. Back on the TARDIS, Rory overhears Amy and the Doctor talking about Amy’s supposed pregnancy, and Rory tells Amy he will never ever stop being stupid. The Doctor asks if they want to investigate the little girl, then decides to go on more adventures.

From Rory's point of veiw

I decided this would be a good idea, where i do a part of an episode from DW from rory's point of view, if anyone else wants to do this to let me know and i'll do a rota. please let me know if i should continue doing this. i'm starting with the beggining of A GOOD MAN GOES TO WAR:

Running, i apparatly do that a lot with the Doctor. only, running through the 12th cyber legion seems to be my job. he gave me instructions, and i do them, at the moment i'm too angry to argue.
*door opens* i'm facing an army of Cybermen, and im not scared? That's new.

"I have a message from the Doctor, and a question from me, WHERE. IS. MY. WIFE?! oh, don't give me those blank looks, the 12th cyber legion moniters this entire quadrant. you hear everything. so you tell me what i need to know. you tell me NOW, and i'll be on my way."

they want to know the doctor's message? i doubt they do when they find out what it is... but they're asking.

*entire space fleet blows up* ok the entire space fleet blew up, and surprisingly i dont care

"would you like me to repeat the question?!

Rory's Story Part 10: The Impossible Astronaut

Rory gets off the bus and states that they are in the middle of nowhere, so they must be in the right place, to Amy. River appears and the Stetson the Doctor's wearing, dies, as the Doctor's fez did. They soon end up in a cafe and the Doctor says hes been running his whole life and it's time for him to stop. They all have a picnic (and the Doctor is apparantly 200 years older than last time) and the Doctor gets killed by the Impossible Astronaut. Rory burns the Doctor's body, while Amy, River and old Canton stay back and watch. They then meet a past Doctor, 200 years younger than the other, this Doctor calls Rory the Roman and says that Rory the Roman a good title (while the King of OK isn't) Rory and River and Amy have a talk, and River states  that they cant tell him, he cant cross his own timeline Amy says he's done it before, and Rory replies, in all fairness the universe DID blow up. They all persuade the Doctor to go to 1969 and talk to Canton Everett Delaware the 3rd. Amy keeps seeing things and they end up in a warehouse, after a astronaut and a little girl, River goes under the warehouse and the Doctor tells Rory to go with her, Rory and River talk and then Rory is told to keep a look out, there are sparks and river yells RORY! and that's it...

The TARDIS jerks around and lights go outs, then come back on the doctor moans at Rory about dropping thermo couplings (Rory was busy looking up Amy's skirt, the TARDIS had landed inside itself and then another Amy comes through the door.

*part 1 finishes*

Amy 2 starts talking technical and then reveals that she doesn't know what it means, she's just repeating what she heard herself say, when asked when Amy 1 goes into the TARDIS to deliver that message she says when I slap Rory. Rory says "what why do I have to get slapped?!" then he was told you'd end up with two Amy ponds forever, so he gets slapped and then more wibblyness occurs then a wibbly lever and that's it.

At Rory's Best!

This post is just to tell you that A Good Man Goes To War is on tonight and it's possibly Rory's best episode so far! If you disagree argue in the comments.

Rory's Story Part 8: A Christmas Carol

Here's part eight of Rory's Story, a feature looking at Rory's involvement in previous Doctor Who episodes (a bit like a prequel to the upcoming Rory Watch) from The Eleventh Hour to A Good Man Goes to War. Rory's Story will be posted twice a day until Friday 26 August, the day Let's Kill Hitler airs:
PART EIGHT: A CHRISTMAS CAROL(2010 Christmas Special)

This is Rory's first Christmas Special so far. He hasn't got much to do with this episode so sorry if it's a little shorter than previous Rory Stories. The episode starts with sirens wailing inside a spaceship where both Rory and Amy are in. They both come out of the honeymoon suite with Roranicus dressed as a Roman (as pictured above) and Amy as a policewoman for "old times sake" The ship is crashing because of the clouds put there by a Mister Kazran Sardick. They send an SOS to the Doctor who's TARDIS appears out of the front window. Rory doesn't do much until a bit later in the episode where he and Amy check up on The Doctor before he discovers the mysterious flying fish. Soon Rory and Amy help The Doctor in his plan. They sing to Kazran hoping to stabilize the spaceship. It obviously doesn't work. When The Doctor finally gets Kazran round, the controls lock himself out. But with Abigail's help the ship manages to land safely. Rory and Amy inspect The Doctor's snowman before having a conversation about honeymoons and then going back into the TARDIS...

Rory's Story Part Seven: The Big Bang

Here's part seven of Rory's Story, a feature looking at Rory's involvement in previous Doctor Who episodes (a bit like a prequel to the upcoming Rory Watch) from The Eleventh Hour to A Good Man Goes to War. Rory's Story will be posted twice a day until Friday 26 August, the day Let's Kill Hitler airs:
PART SEVEN: THE BIG BANG (Series 5, Episode 13)

So, we come to the end of Rory Pond's adventures in Series 5. We see Rory in The Big Bang first just after the pre-titles, crying over the dead body of Amy, who he shot at the end of The Pandorica Opens. Just as he wishes for a miracle,  (it may have comforted Rory if he'd been told the Miracle was only 1909 years away) for Amy to wake up, the Doctor pops up out of nowhere! To Rory's bewilderment, the future Doctor (wearing THE fez and carrying a mop) tells Rory that Amy can be saved, but Rory has to unlock the Pandorica to let the past Doctor out. Rory does that, and the past Doctor, after being smacked in the face by Rory (:D) tells Rory that Amy can be brought back to life by a DNA imprint from Amy's younger self 2000 years later. The Doctor teleports to the National Museum 1908 years later when Amy's been brought back and let out of the Pandorica, while Rory stays in 102 AD, guarding the Pandorica. This set up the 'Lone Centurion' legend thing. Back in the present, Rory saves the two Amy's and the Doctor by using his Auton gun hand to shoot a stone Dalek down. After that, Rory and Amy reunite. They escape from the Pandorica room, and head up the stairs (during this the Doctor goes back to 102 AD to tell past Rory to get him of the Pandorica) where they see a future Doctor teleporting to the top of the stairs, then dying. They make it to the roof, where the Doctor rescues River from the exploding TARDIS, and run back downstairs, where the Doctor is shot by the stone Dalek. Rory again uses his Auton gun hand to shoot the Dalek and weaken it. Rory and Amy go back downstairs to discover that the Doctor isn't dead- he had put himself in the Pandorica instead. Rory is rebooted as a normal human when the Doctor reboots the universe, and after the Doctor (remembered back into existence) crashes his wedding to Amy, gets married. The episode ends with Rory, the Doctor and Amy setting off for more adventures *puts on annoying BBC America voice over man voice* in TIME AND SPACE.
Part 8, A Christmas Carol, will be done by GoodGum this afternoon.

Rory's Story Part Six: The Pandorica Opens

Here's part six of Rory's Story: a feature looking at Rory's involvement in previous Doctor Who episodes (a bit like a prequel to the upcoming Rory Watch), from The Eleventh Hour to A Good Man Goes to War. Rory's Story will be posted twice a day, until Friday 26 August, the day before Let's Kill Hitler airs:
PART SIX: THE PANDORICA OPENS (Series 5, Episode 12)

HE'S A FLIPPING ROMAN!!!

I'm actually watching this on the DVD player as I write this, my head is too full of stuff to just write it. Rory actually comes in quite late in the story, then only as a mysterious shadow, his face unrecognisable and his voice barely recognisable either.
His first real and memorable moment is in the Underhenge; spearing a CyberSentry with his epic sword. It's sad that Amy couldn't remember him, he just saved her life. And the Doctor.... where to start? HE MISSED THE FACT RORY WAS IN FRONT OF HIS FACE!!! Poor Rory, he gets the worst luck. When the Doctor FINALLY realises Rory's there, he gets a poke.
It also takes a while for Rory to find out he never existed and that Amy doesn't remember him. He also thought it was a dream, his Leadworth life. Rory is called a miracle (well, ish) though so yay for that. Rory also gains the nickname Roranicus in this ep when he talks to Amy above ground. Rory tries to get Amy to remember him, although it takes him a little while. When Amy does remember, as Rory is fighting activation, it's too late. Rory, being an Auton, was activated and SHOT AMY DEAD. Then the universe starts to end when the Doctor is locked in the Pandorica. Great day for Rory, he killed his fiancee, the universe ended and he was never born. Again.

HE'S A ROMAN!!! OH YES!

Rory's Story Part 5: Cold Blood

Here's part five of Rory's Story: a feature looking at Rory's involvement in previous Doctor Who episodes (a bit like a prequel to the upcoming Rory Watch), from The Eleventh Hour to A Good Man Goes to War. Rory's Story will be posted twice a day, until Friday 26 August, the day before Let's Kill Hitler airs:
PART FIVE: COLD BLOOD (Series 5, Episode 9)

So, the big Rory moment of the episode was, of course, Rory's death. But since the death happened at the end of the episode, I'll come back to it later :) So, the episode (Rory-wise) picked up from where it had left Rory, just after Alaya the captured Silurian declares that Rory, Tony or Ambrose will kill her and ignite a war.  After Rory examines Tony's mutation, unbeknownst to Rory, Ambrose kills Alaya (their bargaining chip to get
Amy and Elliot) by tasering her. Shortly afterwards, Restac, Alaya's twin sister, calls Rory, Tony and Ambrose from underground. After some shenanigans (love that word :D) not much involving Rory, Amy, and the Doctor plus Mo, Elliot and Nasreen are going to be executed. However, the elder Silurian intervenes, and to the relief of Rory, Amy and the Doctor, Mo, Elliot and Nasreen  survive. Rory decides to head underground with the body of Alaya, along with Tony and Ambrose. When Restac sees Rory carrying Alaya's corpse, she breaks down and wakes up the Silurians in stasis to begin a war. The humans, including Rory, escape to a control room, where Eldane (the elder Silurian) releases a toxic gas upon the underground Silurian city, killing those who are not in stasis. Rory, the Doctor and Amy run back to the TARDIS, but as they reach the TARDIS, the Doctor notices a crack on the wall. After the Doctor pulls something from the crack, a dying Restac crawls into the cave, and attempts to shoot the Doctor. Rory pushes the Doctor out of the way and takes the laser himself! Rory calls Amy beautiful, before he dies. The Doctor pulls Amy back into the TARDIS, as Rory is eaten by a crack and erased from time, so everyone but the Doctor forgets he existed!
RORY MOMENT OF THE EPISODE
Rory sacrifices himself to save the Doctor.

Rory's Story Part 4: The Hungry Earth

Here's part four of Rory's Story: a feature looking at Rory's involvement in previous Doctor Who episodes (a bit like a prequel to the upcoming Rory Watch.) , from The Eleventh Hour to A Good Man Goes to War. Rory's Story will be posted twice a day, finishing on Friday 27th August, the day that Let's Kill Hitler airs:
PART FOUR: THE HUNGRY EARTH (Series 5, Episode 8)

This is Rory's first two parter (and probably worst) so far. When they came out of the TARDIS Rory saw future him and future Amy (which leads to a massive plot line in Cold Blood). Rory saw Amy's ring, took it off her and put it in the TARDIS (again a massive plot line follow-up). So all Rory's do-lally he was late and was met by Ambrose, Elliot's mother (as pictured above). She thought he was a policeman (hmm I wonder why?). So she asked him about the mysterious grave-robbings. After a little investigation Rory brought Ambrose and Eliot to the Doctor, who after a shield popped up explained to Rory about Amy being pulled under the surface. They swiftly capture a Silurian (Alaya) and take refuge in a church. After hearing Alaya's death threat to the humans, Rory is left alone with a poisoned Tony and an ok Ambrose. The episode ends with Rory and the two humans listening to Alaya explaining to them that one of them will kill her...

Rory's Story Part 3: Amy's Choice

Here's part three of Rory's Story: a feature looking at Rory's involvement in previous Doctor Who episodes (a prequel to the upcoming Rory Watch), from The Eleventh Hour to A Good Man Goes to War. Rory's Story will be posted twice a day (I'll be doing one each day, the other is selected at random) until Saturday 27 August, the day of the broadcast of Let's Kill Hitler airs:
PART THREE: AMY'S CHOICE (Series 5, episode 7)

Amy's Choice was Rory's first full episode as a proper companion. Rory, along with Amy and the Doctor, fell victim to 'psychic pollen' which trapped the trio in two shared dreams- one in the TARDIS, drifting towards a burning star with 7 minutes to live, and one five years after, in Upper Leadworth. In the Leadworth dream, Rory had become a doctor, and he and Amy were having a baby (and also Rory had an awful ponytail (thankfully not pictured).) However, the Doctor came along and together they battled the Eknodine- creatures which had possessed the elderly residents of Leadworth.) In both dreams, Rory was taunted by the Dream Lord, who claimed that Amy didn't really love Rory, and that Rory was the 'gooseberry' of the trio. However, in the Leadworth dream, Rory was shot by an Eknodine's poison gas, and turned to dust. This made Amy realize that she loved Rory and didn't want to be without him, so she killed herself and the Doctor by crashing her car. Back in the TARDIS, Rory, the Doctor and Amy were killed in the TARDIS dream too, and brought back to reality when the Doctor revealed that both scenarios were a dream.

Rory's Story will be posted twice a day, finishing on Friday 26 August, the day before Let's Kill Hitler airs:
(EDIT FROM RANDOMWHO) Rory Watch is now finishing 27 August, the day of Let's Kill Hitler :)

PART TWO: THE VAMPIRES OF VENICE (Series 5, episode 6)

Rory's involvement in this story is far more than that in part one of Rory's Story. The Doctor crashes Rory's stag party and breaks the news that Amy tried to kiss him. Back in the TARDIS, the Doctor informs them he's taking them somewhere romantic: Venice. Later in the episode, he poses as Amy's brother to get her into the school to rescue Isabella. He then accompanied the Doctor into the school, where they and Amy were chased out by the vampire (or fish alien) girls. After Guido killed the Saturnynian girls, the Doctor told Amy and Rory to go back to the TARDIS. On the way, they encountered Rosanna's son Francesco, and a fight between Rory and Francesco ensued, resulting with Amy concentrating sunlight onto Francesco to kill him. The pair then met up with the Doctor, who had succeeded in stopping Rosanna's plan to flood Venice. Rory was invited to stay in the TARDIS, and he accepted, becoming a full-time companion.

It is unclear what part he is playing, it may be a full time companion or just in every other story. We will bring you updates on anything to do with Rory ASAP.

Rory's Story Part 1: The Eleventh Hour

Hello :) Here's part one of Rory's Story: a feature looking at Rory's involvement in previous Doctor Who episodes (a bit like a prequel to the upcoming Rory Watch.) , from The Eleventh Hour to A Good Man Goes to War. Rory's Story will be posted twice a day, finishing on Friday 26 August, the day before Let's Kill Hitler airs:
PART ONE: THE ELEVENTH HOUR (Series 5, Episode 1)

When we first met Rory, back in series five's opener, The Eleventh Hour, he was a nurse working at Leadworth Hospital. He didn't play a big part in the episode,  but we did learn that he was Amy's 'sort-of boyfriend', and when they were younger Amy made him dress up as The Raggedy Doctor- the recently regenerated Eleventh Doctor which Amy met at age eight. He played a useful part in saving the world, by lending his phone to the Doctor for the Doctor to write a computer virus which defeated Prisoner Zero. We learn in Flesh and Stone that Rory got engaged to Amy in the two years after the Doctor's second departure. Rory wasn't seen on screen again until episode 6, The Vampires of Venice.. Also, in episode 1, the Doctor pokes Rory. He does so again in The Pandorica Opens :)
RORY MOMENT OF THE EPISODE:
'And now you're taking your clothes off.'
Part Two, The Vampires of Venice, should be done this evening

Rory's forgetfulness

This post is about the times Rory has been forgotten about in games, books etc.

The Adventure Games: This is a series of games you can play on your computer. It has The Doctor, Amy but no Rory! But all hope is not lost in the second set you can play as Roranicus Pondicus!

The Mazes Of Time: This is a game that you can play on your iPod, iPhone, iPad and now Android. This also has the same problem as The Adventure Games, no Rory! But with no sequel confirmed and two add-ons with no sign of Rory, the future is looking dark.

Return To Earth: This is the Wii game. Guess who's not in it? Rory! But this is just one adventure so we hope Rory is just on holiday.

Evacuation Earth: This is a DS game. Same problem again :( but this time I don't think he's on hoiday again!

Action Figure: This has been said on another post but I'd like to repeat it: Why is there no Rory figure?

Cold Blood: This is the 9th episode of Doctor Who. And who can forget Rory being pulled into the crack? Thankfully he reappeared in The Pandorica Opens to become a full-time companion in Series 6.

Series 5 Opening Credits: In the opening credits when Rory was a companion in Series 5 they didn't put his name in there! But it is there in the Series 6 version.
(Thanks to DoctorWhoDragon for the information for Series 5 opening credits)

If anyone has anything else that Rory isn't in please comment,
GoodGum
